Spleen (2000)[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]One of a series of Collaborative Artists’ Books produced by Stephen Spurrier and Wilma Tabacco. Collaborations between the two artists have been continuing since 1992 when they worked together on an artists’ vending machine project for the Third International Contemporary Art Fair in Melbourne.
“Spleen” is a continuation of the artists’ investigation into the significance of particular human organs in the creative process. “Venting the Spleen” for the artist can be the expression of the darkest shadow, and may lead to the creation of very curious work! Concertina format. Watercolour, Collage, synthetic relief prints and drawing on Pordenone 185 gsm. 8 pp, each 22.5 x 12.5 cm. Cover by Ugg Boot Press. Signed.
