War Saving Streets (1970)[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]During the Second World War households of entire streets in suburban Melbourne were encouraged to contribute to a national war savings campaign. The streets with high contributions were marked with plaques stating ‘This is a War Savings Street’. Cover image is from photograph by Peter Jeffs. Inside front cover lists 31 streets with map coordinates. On accompanying loose sheet instamatic photos by the artist are reproduced in a grid. Photo-offset lithographic. Folder 26.6 x 19.0cm. Edition unknown, possibly only 100 exist. Unsigned.
