Six Negatives (1968-69) is a product of Mel Ramsden ‘dialogue’ with Roget’s Thesaurus, which act with the six categories of the thesaurus creating a “positive” on the “negative” language.
Ian Burn’s contribution ‘Holding system for Six Negatives’ supplied Six Negatives with a more elaborate commentary, subsequently incorporated as part of the work.
