[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Ti Parks studied painting and printmaking at Bromley College of Art in Kent and at the Slade School in London. He exhibited with the Young Contemporaries, Artists International Association and the London Group.

Through 1964-1973 he lived in Melbourne. In 1974 he was appointed Senior Visiting Lecturer at Elam School of Art in Auckland, New Zealand, then in 1975 he returned to live in London.

While in Australia and New Zealand, Parks exhibited regularly at Pinacotheca in Melbourne and Watters Gallery in Sydney. He also exhibited at Argus, Tolarno and Bonython Galleries and participated in the Mildura Sculpture Triennial and group and theme shows at National Gallery of Victoria, Art Gallery NSW, Ballarat, Shepparton, Geelong and Hobart Galleries.

In 1973 he represented Australia at the 8ieme Biennale de Paris where he showed a major photographic and collage work called “Polynesian 100″ which was exhibited again in 2002 in the Fieldwork Exhibition at Federation Square, Melbourne.

Starting with the 2002 Ten Thousand Collages exhibition, followed in 2004 by an exhibition of acrylics and objects, a comprehensive overview in 2008 of the artist’s prints from 1989 – 2008, and in 2010 a small selection of Parks’ artist’s books in the glass case space.

His works are included in the collections of the Tate Gallery, The Museum of Modern Art New York, National Gallery of Australia, National Gallery Victoria, Art Gallery New South Wales, other public and private collections.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
